Stylish & secure aluminium bi-fold doors in Essex & beyond
Consisting of between 3 and 7 glazed panels, bi-fold doors are opened in a concertina style where the door leaves are folded back to stack upon one another. Being constructed from thermally broken aluminium profiles, they will not contract in extreme temperature conditions and their strength to weight ratio is unparalleled.
A great alternative to sliding doors, they allow you to fold and slide the panels back to left or right and open up an unobstructed aperture to a patio or garden. Many styles can be specified with a traffic door, which provides a normal door leaf allowing easy access to the outside space without opening up the whole bi-folding door.
Threshold Options
There is the option of a low threshold for unimpeded easy access or a rebated threshold which offers improved weather resistance. All doors are available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours, including dual options (different internal and external colours) and a range of textured finishes.

Built to secure your home
Our SMART folding sliding doors are fitted with the latest high-security locking system. On styles supplied with a traffic door, lever handles operate a high-security hook bolt locking system and a profile key cylinder. This allows access from both inside and outside.
However, bi-fold doors supplied without a traffic door do not have external access and can only be opened from inside by operating the shoot bolt locking system using the handles fitted to the meeting stiles of the door.
Polyamide thermal barriers to keep your home warm
All of our SMART aluminium bi-folding doors are manufactured with a polyamide thermal break, creating a barrier between both the internal and external aluminium sections which reduces heat loss. Our bi-folding doors can be fitted with double or triple glazed units with a centre pane U-value of 1.2W/m2K and an overall U-value of 1.8W/m2K.
