SupaLite roofs are designed and tested to the standards demanded by independent structural engineers and Extralight tiles have been weather tested by the British Research Establishment (BRE). SupaLite gives an incredible u-value of 0.18 that meets total building regulations. Roofs are constructed using lightweight aluminium ridge beams and rafters with tanalised timber batons.

ExtraLight tiles boast a high-performance, textured finish, designed to capture the low profile of traditional shingles. The exceptional durability eliminates the delaminating, lifting, and general break-down caused by UV rays and high winds whilst maintaining the superior performance of stone coated steel. Available in a choice of 3 natural weathered tones - charcoal, ember or walnut - to recreate the visual appeal of a clay tiled roof
With authentic surfaces and edges, the SupaLite composite Tapco tile highlights the handsome character of natural slate, at the same time enhancing roof performance through innovative design. Unlike natural slate, composite tiles will not break down or delaminate. Available in black, grey, brown or red, the tiles are created with moulds cast from real slate to capture genuine peaks, plateaus, and curves.
Size permitting, roof vents can be added to the installation. The centre pivot of the roof vent allows the sash to be opened in a range of positions to maximise and control airflow. The sash can be rotated through 180 degrees and locked, allowing safe and easy cleaning of the outer pane. The internal colour options of our roof windows are white or pine.
The SupaLite roof system provides a choice of optional internal lighting configurations, which can be fitted in the ridge or in the new internal plastered ceiling. There is also an option to have external LED’s fitted into the exterior soffit for outdoor lighting.
